Maple Ridge in Transition
Greetings Maple Ridge,
It has been an exciting Summer in Maple Ridge and we have a lot to share during this transition month. The kids will be heading back to school and our sports teams have finished up for the Summer and now are preparing for fall competition. Many of our neighbors have taken the opportunity this Summer to improve their homes and landscape and Maple Ridge is looking fantastic throughout. There have been some incredible transformations to some of the homes in the community and it is great to see Maple Ridge looking so good!
Our North Division Championship Swim Team sent its top swimmers to the Gwinnett County Championships on July 9th-11th and continued their remarkable season. A MantaRay swimmer hasn’t won an individual county championship in quite a while and this year we are proud to announce that TWO Maple Ridge Swimmers won individual championships! More on the that in the “Shoutouts” section!
The kids are heading back to school and the swim team is finished for the year, however the pool will remain open until September 12th so be sure to head down to the pool and enjoy some of the quieter days this month!
Finally, this month we will have our first “Membership Signing Day” where permanent members will be able to quickly sign the Permanent Membership Consent form that will be recorded with the county by our attorney. More on that in the announcements section.

Quiet Late Summer Days at the Pool
Pro-Rated Membership Options
There is still a month and a half left in the pool season and discounted membership fees are now being offered for those who also become Permanent Members. Simply contact the HOA and we will send an invoice for the pro-rated amount for the remainder of the Summer.
Pavilion Party Reservations
Reservations now being accepted for 2021
Reservations are now being accepted for 2021 parties at the Maple Ridge Pavilion. Swim/Tennis members may make reservations and submit the refundable deposit by downloading the Pavilion Reservation Form.
Permanent Member Consent Form
County Recording of Status
This month we will begin the process of formally recording permanent members and formally recording our new covenants and bylaws with Gwinnett County. This process will require a very quick signing and notarizing of the Covenant Consent Form for permanent members. We will hold two event days at the pool on August 8th between 2 and 4pm and August 11th between 7 and 8 pm. If you are a permanent member please mark your calendars to stop by the pool for a few minutes during one of these time slots to quickly sign your consent form. All members listed on the deed of your home should be signers on the consent form.

Back to School!
August 4th, 2021
All students start school on Aug. 4, with a staggered start for in-person learning. Students in grades K, 1, 6, and 9, and students with special needs who are served in a small group will start in-person learning on Aug. 4, with all other students participating in digital learning at home. On Aug. 5, students in grades 2, 3, 7, and 10 will start in-person learning, with remaining students in digital learning at home. On Aug. 9, students in grades 4, 5, 8, 11, and 12 will start in-person learning. (Students who opted out of in-person learning will begin digital learning on Aug. 4.) Download the Student Calendar
Back To School Party
Saturday, August 7th, 2021, 12PM to 1PM
Beat the heat and celebrate the kiddos going back to school Saturday, August 7th from 12 pm-1pm at the pool!! Georgia Sno will be parked in the pool parking lot with yummy frozen treats for purchase!
Membership Signing Event
August 8th 2-4PM and August 11th 7-8PM
Permanent Members! Please swing by the pool to sign your Permanent Member Consent form next week during one of the time periods listed above. This will take just a minute and will complete our new membership transition. If you are unable to make it down to the pool during these times please contact the HOA and we will arrange a time to come by your home for a quick front porch signing. Thank you Maple Ridge Members!

Abigail Kingery and Natalia amescua
Congratulations to Natalia Amescua and Abigal Kingery for winning a Gwinnett County Championship. Abigail won the 7-8 Year Old 25 Meter Breaststroke championship and Natalia won the 11-12 year old 100M Freestyle and the 100M Individual Medley!
